This Boom sweatshirt is my one grab from from the 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target launch.  Unwilling to lose sleep to catch the launch online, I happened by it in-store this afternoon when I was running my Sunday errands & picking up some things for the week.  I have to say, I’m a little over the manufactured hype for the Target designer capsule collections.  The lines are bound to sell-out regardless, so I don’t see the need for the 3AM launches.  Crazy hoarders purchase en masse & then sell on eBay.  Lame sauce.  Below are some bloggers styling the sweatshirt.

Oh, and Queen B, in the real deal original that inspired Boom Jr.

I’m dying over my new summer-to-fall booties! I adore the gold details & the cut outs. I had been wavering over whether or not to pull the trigger until I saw the code for $30 off! Had over to the website to check it out, through tomorrow, August 18.

What do you think?  I just purchase this dress from Piperlime & I am loving it’s bold print & color.  I plan to style with a panama hat (I’m not gonna lie, I’m very vain, so I pretty much style every summer outfit with this staple) & black booties.  And a bold, matte red lip! View high resolution

New Jeans for the Fall!

Fall is just around the corner & I can’t wait!  I am trying out these J Brand mid-rise skinnies in a fun, blue wash.  Their cropped length will be perfect for showcasing my favorite fall booties.  On SALE HERE.

Crazy for Onzie

I have been eyeing these online for awhile, in this particular print (sound wave).  So imagine my surprise when, upon completing a grueling inversion workshop this weekend, I found them on the sale rack at my studio!  It was like the universe rewarding me for my hard work.  You can find them HERE.

If you follow my blog, you know about my dissatisfaction with the yoga gear available on the market (in particular the $100+ a pop Lululemon cult!).  I am ever on the quest for finding gear I love, is functional & that I am excited to wear.  These are so fun & flattering.  I am super picky & here, again, is my criteria:

My perfect yoga pant must be…

1. …in the $50 or below range

2. …mid-calf to full-length (so I don’t slip during sweaty inversions & arm balances)

3. …low, wide waistband

4. ..sweat-camouflaging (to hide the ever-flattering crack sweat that is inevitable during heated vinyasa)

5. …FUN

6. …and most importantly pass the see-through bend test when I’m spread into prasarita!

ONZIE LEGGING VIDEO from The Onzie Crew on Vimeo.

I love Onzie because it was developed by a long-time yogi & is super versatile (sweaty yoga? spinning? swimming? running? surfing? Check!).  They are affordable (especially when you nab them on sale!). Oh, and they’re local!

"At Onzie our philosophy is ‘keep your practice challenging, and your wardrobe simple!’  In keeping with the principle of being inclusive, rather than exclusive, Onzie is affordably-priced and suitable for all activities and practices. Onzie products are made with love in southern California.

Utilizing Free-Flow Fabric Technology that is durable and breathable, this fast-drying material keeps bodies cool, dry and comfortable. Onzie yoga gear is perfect for hot yoga, but can also be used for pilates, spinning, swimming, surfing, running or hooping. Our clothes can be worn as everyday wear or into chlorine and salt water environments. You can transition in and out of yoga postures as seamlessly as you can the rest of your day.  So embrace the awareness of your being, sense your core, and feel secure. Focus on your strength and beauty.”

Are you up on the patchwork trend? Looks like it’s going to be around for fall.  I just snagged these cuties at the Zara sale, but you can also find these Current/Elliott’s on sale over at Shopbop (they even come recommended by the ever-chic Marlien Rentmeester of Le Catch).

WOMEN DIP SUNO SKINNY FIT PANTS

WOMEN DIP SUNO SKINNY FIT PANTS

A collaboration I am excited about!  I opted for the striped pants above.  View the collection HERE.

SUNO is a women’s clothing label founded in 2008 in New York by Max Osterweis with designer Erin Beatty. For their first collection, the pair drew from Osterweis’ vast collection of Kenyan textiles, using vintage Kenyan Kangas to mark the launch of the brand. Since then, the line has evolved, combining prints and textures of all kinds into impeccably tailored garments. SUNO creates its designs in New York and produces them in Kenya, India and Peru.
