SUNO is a women’s clothing label founded in 2008 in New York by Max Osterweis with designer Erin Beatty. For their first collection, the pair drew from Osterweis’ vast collection of Kenyan textiles, using vintage Kenyan Kangas to mark the launch of the brand. Since then, the line has evolved, combining prints and textures of all kinds into impeccably tailored garments. SUNO creates its designs in New York and produces them in Kenya, India and Peru.

In honor of Coachella, I am finally getting around to a quickie post about my Palm Springs vacation a couple weeks ago. The desert really is one of my favorite places to unwind. It’s so magical, especially this time of year when the temps are engaging & the wildflowers are blooming.

The Saguaro - tried out a new hotel this trip (my favorite is The Parker). I’d heard good things about the new(ish) Saguaro, which joins the Joie de Vivre family & the raging motel makeover trend…maybe it was spring break, but the pool scene was overrun with kiddos & marking out your pool chair real estate was super agro. They did graciously check us in considerably early, the poolside menu was tasty & the beds were super comf. They also offer a morning yoga class & bikes.

While we were in town, we also perused Villagefest, a weekly street fair. I picked up some cute earrings from a street vendor to remember the trip.
I can spend a fortune while standing in line at Sephora. My favorite part is all the little bins, deals & travel items while you are waiting in line. I found this gem yesterday. It’s a great product & I’m obsessed already! It’s pigment forward, matte & the perfect shade of red. Plus, it lasted all day. You get 2 colors for $12! I got the green tri-circle one, a perfect snag for St. Patrick’s Day. These bracelets are completely waterproof, plus they have a ‘p’ charm which has special meaning for me. AND they’re local!

Nars blush in Exhibit A | Even though I have fair skin & this shade looks intimidating, applied very lightly it totally works! I love it because it’s not as pink-y as most blushes.
YSL Glossy Stain in No. 29 Rose Fourreau | If you don’t already know about YSL’s new glossy stain, know about it! It’s fantastic & lasts all day. I absolutely cannot deal with goopy lips & this goes on so light & smooth. It has the sheen of a gloss, but once that wears off the stain sticks around. I only reapply once during the workday, it comes in so many great shades & I love the applicator!

Penny Dress by Dear Creatures | I got this dress from Piperlime & it’s adorable! The top is very fitted which gives it some shape & keeps it from being too darling. I think it will be perfect for an upcoming weekend in Napa.
